Whilst working on Mythic League, we started to use Steam login for our various sites, this worked well as first, but finding the connections with the users FACEIT account was not the easiest task.
With the new FACEIT developer portal being released and with coordination of their API team, we were able to utilize their OAUTH2 flow and create a login service.
As the new OAUTH2 flow was now available to use, I created passport-faceit to allow use logins to be implemented into a quick and easy to use ExpressJS environment.
